Aisha Chaudhary grew up in New Delhi and was diagnosed at birth with severe combined immune deficiency (SCID), undergoing a bone-marrow transplant at six months old. At thirteen she was further diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. While her illness progressed in her final year, she documented her reflections in My Little Epiphanies, turning personal hardship into a meditation on hope and purpose. The book was published in 2015, one day before her death at eighteen. The 2019 Hindi film The Sky Is Pink is based on her life.
