Champa Sharma

Champa Sharma (born 1941) is a Dogri poet, critic, and academic who received the Sahitya Akademi Award for her collection of six long poems in Dogri, published in English translation as In the Shadow of Memories (Chefen Di Rhol). She retired as Professor and Founder Head of the Postgraduate Dogri Department at the University of Jammu and has published forty-three books, including original works, translations, and edited anthologies.
