Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain trained at the Culinary Institute of America and spent years as a professional cook, including a long tenure as executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles in Manhattan. His bestselling memoir Kitchen Confidential (2000) launched a second career as a writer and television host. A Cook's Tour and Medium Raw extended that candid, unsparing voice to global travel and the changing food world. He died in June 2018.
