Bhaskaracharya Tripathi (born 1942) is a Sanskrit poet and scholar who received the 2003 Sahitya Akademi Award for Sanskrit for his work 'Nirjharini'. He has authored more than 12 books and served as the founder Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Sanskrit Academy. Tripathi is the author of `निलिम्प-काव्यम् (Nilimpa Kavyam)`, a five-volume poetic work, and `अक्षरा (गद्य-कादम्बिनी) (Aksara)`, a collection of variant prose.
