Benita Sen

Benita Sen is an Indian journalist and children's author who has written numerous books, encompassing both fiction and non-fiction, for young readers. Her works are published by various houses, including Children's Book Trust, Pratham, Rupa & Co, Scholastic, and Teri Press. Sen's stories, which have appeared in a range of children's magazines and prominent English dailies, often explore environmental themes and incorporate verse. Her book "Yakity Yak" was selected for the 5th Nami Island International Children's Book Festival in Korea. She also conducts workshops and storytelling sessions, connecting with children on diverse topics from nature to crafts.
