Aruna Chakravarti

Aruna Chakravarti is an author and translator known for her work in bringing Bengali literature to an English-speaking audience. She has received the Sahitya Akademi Award for her translations. Her works include a translation of Saratchandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel Srikanta, a collection of translated short stories titled The Way Home, and Songs of Tagore.
