ARTHUR E. POWELL

Arthur E. Powell (1882–1969) was a Welsh Theosophist and author known for synthesizing extensive information from the esoteric works of Helena Blavatsky, Annie Besant, and Charles Webster Leadbeater. A former lieutenant in the Royal Engineers, Powell published several influential books in the early 1900s, systematically detailing the subtle bodies of man and the planes of existence. His works include The Astral Body and Other Astral Phenomena, The Mental Body, and The Solar System, which explore various aspects of occultism and theosophical cosmology.
