Anundoram Borooah

Anundoram Borooah (1850–1889) was a distinguished Indian Sanskrit scholar and civil servant from Assam, notable for being the first Assamese to join the Indian Civil Service. He made monumental contributions to Sanskrit scholarship, most notably with his 'A Comprehensive Grammar of the Sanskrit Language - Analytical, Historical and Lexicographical,' which remains a significant work in the field.
