Ann Hunkins

Ann Hunkins is a poet and former Fulbright grantee with an M.A. in poetry from UC Davis. She worked for more than a decade on her translations of Nepali short fiction, often collaborating directly with the original writers. Her anthology Voices in the Dark gathers eighteen stories by distinguished Nepali authors spanning a century, and she received the Devkota Century Award in 2010 for her contributions to Nepali literature. Her poems and translations have appeared in Manoa, the North American Review, and various publications in Nepal.
