Anjana Appachana

Anjana Appachana was born in India of Coorg origin and educated at Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Pennsylvania State University. She lives in Arizona, United States. Fear and Lovely, published by Penguin Random House India in 2023, is a sequel to her novel Listening Now (1998) and is set in a New Delhi colony in the 1970s, following the painfully shy Mallika as she navigates family expectations and personal desire.
