ANGIE SAGE

Angie Sage was born in 1952 and grew up in the Thames Valley, London, and Kent. She studied graphic design and illustration, skills she initially applied to illustrating children's books before turning to writing her own. Her debut novel Magyk (2004) launched the Septimus Heap series, a seven-book sequence following a wizard apprentice through a world of spells and dark magic, concluding with Fyre (2013). She has also written the TodHunter Moon trilogy and the Araminta Spook series.
