Alexandra Stewart

Alexandra Stewart read Modern History at Oxford University before training as a journalist and working as a reporter and later as a press officer for the Metropolitan Police and central government. Everest: The Remarkable Story of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay is her debut children's non-fiction book, illustrated by Joe Todd-Stanton and featuring a foreword by Sir Ranulph Fiennes. It traces both climbers from birth to their final days, published to coincide with the centenary of Edmund Hillary's birth.
