Albert D'Souza

Albert D'Souza is an Indian prelate of the Catholic Church, born in Moodubelle, Karnataka, in 1945. He was ordained as a priest in 1974 and appointed Bishop of Lucknow in 1992. In 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him the tenth Archbishop of Agra, a position he held until his retirement in 2020. His writings, such as "Christian Ethics and Moral Values," explore Christian convictions regarding God and redemption and apply them to the moral concerns of a pluralistic contemporary society.
