Ajit Kumar Singh and Nomita P. Kumar are scholars who collaborate on social and economic research in India. Dr. Singh, who holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Lucknow, has served as a professor and was the Director of the Giri Institute of Development Studies, Lucknow. Their co-authored work, "Indian Widows in Search of God," is an in-depth study of the lives of widows in the cities of Vrindavan and Varanasi.
