Acharya Jinavijayamuni (1888–1976) was a distinguished Jain scholar, editor, and preserver of ancient Sanskrit and Prakrit manuscripts. Renowned for his monumental contributions to Indology, he served as Director of the Rajasthan Oriental Research Institute and played a pivotal role in the revival of Prakrit studies. His extensive body of work includes critical editions and commentaries on numerous significant texts. Among his published works is `पूर्वाचार्यविरचित प्रश्रव्याकरणाख्य जयपायड निमित्तशास्त्र` (Pūrvācāryaviracita Praśravyākaraṇākhya Jayapāyaḍa Nimittaśāstra), a work on omens. Many of his works are published by Prakrit Bharati Academy, Jaipur, reflecting his deep commitment to Jain and Prakrit scholarship.
