Abhijit Majumdar

Abhijit Majumdar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Calcutta, specializing in Structural Linguistics, Stylistics, and Historical Linguistics with a particular emphasis on Indo-Aryan languages, especially Bangla. He has served multiple terms as the Head of the Department of Linguistics. Majumdar is an active researcher, publishing articles in various journals and books, and his work includes editing volumes of the Bulletin of the Department of Linguistics.
