A.S. Panneerselvan

A.S. Panneerselvan served as Readers' Editor at The Hindu from 2012 to 2021 and teaches at the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai. A Reuters Journalism Fellow at the University of Oxford (1998), he has reported extensively on conflicts in Sri Lanka, Kashmir, and India's northeast. The Government of Tamil Nadu recognised his literary and journalistic contributions with the G.U. Pope Award. Karunanidhi: A Life, published by Penguin in 2021, is the result of his long engagement with Tamil politics and the life of the former Chief Minister.
