A. S. Panchapakesa Ayyar (1899–1963) was an Indian jurist, novelist, dramatist, and short story writer who held the degrees M.A. (Oxon), I.C.S., and Bar-at-Law, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. He translated and expanded the ancient fable collections Panchatantra and Hitopadesa into English; the second revised and enlarged edition was published in 1960 by V. Ramaswamy Sastrulu and Sons, Madras.
