Ramachandran Ganapati (1 September 1935 – 20 February 2012) studied English Literature at Presidency College, Madras, and built a career as a journalist at the Tamil magazine Kalki. Over several decades he collated, organised, and published the spiritual discourses of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi of Kanchi as the seven-volume Tamil series Deivathin Kural (The Voice of God), covering Advaita, Vedic religion, dharma, and culture. He also wrote serialised biographies of Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, and other saints, and authored Amma (Mother), a Tamil work on Sarada Devi.
